The switch
Well I made the switch to Linux finally, I'm running ubuntu on my main PC full time now. I have all my hardware up and running and I am thoroughly pleased with it.
I also have exams now :( which sucks as they are for the next 3 weeks :x

Site upgrades... again
Ive updated the gallery script a fair amount in the last month or so, If you haven't noticed there have been some upgrades, mainly Ive set the default mode to thumbnails, and got it properly working, including caching and auto-generation of them. Currently they are shown Newest first. Hope you like it :)
In other news, about 1 week to Alex's birthday, Cant wait to go up there and see him again :) That and I've finally got around to replacing my old shoddy router that drops every time I receive a file on MSN, with a new sparkly wireless one with 4 ports, which has come with a PCMCIA card for my laptop.
Also the Head of IT at my school is going to start "randomly" inspecting the computing class' laptops for illegal software, and stuff that "shouldn't be on there", i.e. Stuff he doesn't understand or doesn't like. Well Linux is on his "Dislike" list, but he isn't the most intelligent of folks, so all he will know is that I installed a custom theme for windows :D all of it is legal anyway, the glory of the GNU public license :D (If he realities it IS Linux, Its still within that bloody contract, which was to return it in its state it was given to me in, I.e. Unformatted). So I should be able to pull this one off :D
also, in the gallery is a picture of my desk yet again, complete with new keyboard that alex got me :) Link
We have also acquired a fully working HP Laser jet 2100TN with a jet direct print server built in, Taken me all evening and some telnet'ing to get its IP correct. Now its fully working and part of the network :D Its really quite cool, especially at a grand price of £3.19 including VAT :)
